Horsey Reach Lodge is a Scandinavian Finlodge and is constructed of strong slow-growing pine logs from managed forests in the north of Finland. Designed for permanent residence in places such as Finland, it easily withstands even the harshest of Scottish winters. The scent of pine as you enter along with the contemporary furnishings, solid wood panelled doors, double glazed windows, the wood-burning stove and the overall attention to detail creates an incredibly relaxing and cosy atmosphere that is hard to find anywhere else and in any other type of building. The lodge sleeps 6 people in three bedrooms: the master bedroom has a king-size bed and an ensuite shower room, and secluded balcony overlooking the river. There are a further two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with full-size, adult-strength bunk beds. The main bathroom has a large bath and over-bath shower. The living room offers all the comforts of home: a flat-screen television with Sky +, a DVD player, a stereo system, a wood-burning stove, and a library of books and glossy magazines. The kitchen-diner is fully-fitted with all the appliances you could wish for - that all-important dishwasher, fan-assisted oven, ceramic hob, microwave, toaster, fridge and washer-drier. And in the cupboard you will find tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil and herbs and spices. On the decked area immediately in front of the the lodge is a 6-person hot-tub, a gas barbeque and patio furniture so you can make the most of the Scottish sunshine! All linen, towels, toiletries and wood for the wood-burning stove included. | At a Glance... Sleeps 6 |
